All Natural Detergent for Washing Vegetable

Ingredients:

  1. Apple cider vinegar
  2. Baking soda
  3. Hydrogen peroxide (optinal)

Option 1

Add 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar to 1 gallon of water

Option 2

Add 3 table spoons of baking soda to 1 gallon of water

Option 3 (super cleaner)

Add 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar + 2 table spoons of  hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water

Preparing Wash

Items needed:

Large bowl

A wide plastic brush

  1. Get a large bowl
  2. Add 1 gallon water (either cool or cold)
  3. Add the ingredients from either option 1,2,or 3

Washing Technique

  1. Add your vegetables to prepared wash and let them soak for about 3 to 9 minutes, depending on the type of fruit or vegetables. Make sure you add enough prepared wash to cover the vegetables.
  2. Use a vegetable brush to scrub the chemical pesticides and soil contaminants from vegetables and fruits.
  3. After scrubbing, rinse your fruits and vegetables in free running water for 1-2 min.
